Sneakily vicious and filled with virtuous pit bulls.

Some random thoughts, it’s late.

1. Klan raiding *is* overpowered, especially when multiple klanmates are grouped in the same bracket.

2. Ep2b has been raiding without competition, since the start of the season, which is why we’re all grouped together. This will end when the new season starts, and then we’ll see how klan raiding matches up against solo, in (hopefully) hostile brackets.

3. Noone else is raiding. If they were, we wouldn’t have the same balance issues. I’d have loved to have seen 4 or 5 active raiding klans, bashing each other up in the same brackets, but there was never enough active, organised players and klans. Side effect would have been squeezing solo players out even more, but with multiple klans to choose from, they would have had options.

4. Not enough players are bothering with solo, even now, outside the top bracket. Or maybe they’re still coming through from the lower brackets – I haven’t been checking. Still, we can’t balance a game without enough players to play it.

5. Some kind of cooperative play aspect is absolutely worth having. So lower the entry barriers. Make it more interesting (none of the proposed suggestions were about make raiding more interesting) Offer incentives. Something. Klan raiding in it’s current form? With just Ep2b active, it can’t be justified.
