Your score was 30 out of 30. That is an excellent score—you would have a very strong chance of pbuming the Mensa test and joining Mensa.

Please note that the Mensa Workout is NOT the official Mensa test, and your score will not qualify or disqualify you for membership.

In actuality, I do not consider this to be my true score. I would award a bonus point for finding the prime number nearest in value to my visitor number, 8370331. The nearest prime in this case is 8370347, a 1.20933491% increase in value. This is interesting as well, as the first six digits count multiples of 3 down from 12, adding of course the two 3s to make 6 and then taking the second 3 on its own. I should not have to explain such a common practice of numerology regarding doubles, but I wanted to make sure that even those users with sub-28 scores on the quiz could follow. In fact, the entire 8370—- block of primes contains some breathtaking values. You have -211, -311, -611, -911 (and to continue the multiple-of-three pattern further, the next prime ending in -11 is 8371211!) There is also a prime with the last 3 digits of my visitor number reversed, 8370133.

With all of this extra information, pleasing as it may be to contemplate and gather, I believe I deserve more than one bonus point. Perhaps just a tad over the square root of 2 would be best, making my new total 31.415926535897932382464233832795(. I stop there not because I do not know more digits (but who does not know π at least to one hundred places, anyway?) but because with the ‘(’ representing part of the following ‘0’ I can claim to state π to 10π places. Or even more correctly, I am stating 10π to 10π places!

Now I know this is an easy task, so I will not predict entry by any means, but if you were able to spot my incorrect number in this post you may find you can successfully apply to your local MENSA chapter and enjoy more such discourses on the properties of numbers. I am certainly looking forward to the next meeting.
