Let me tell you a story about a traumatizing event from my youth that brought me both physical and emotional pain.

One time I was swimming at a friend’s house with 5 other people, when the unthinkable happened. I cannonballed into the shallow end, and hit my bum on the bottom of the pool. I immediately jumped up and yelled “****…MY bum”

Then realizing what I had just said in front of many friends, I went underwater hoping that the laughter would stop by the time I got up.

The laughter never stopped. Ever.
