Yeah, but I went ahead and replaced my Superfly Blacks since (1) I don’t need the money for anything anyway and (2) on those rare occasions that I forget to swap glbumes, the Tinteds actually confer some sort of bonus to battle.

+2 Defense is never more useful than +1 Offense to a Troll. Never. And the Smileprin savings are more-or-less canceled out by the increased repair costs.
