The process that changes thread length runs every 30 minutes but it’s inconsistent as to the exact time everyday. I bumume it’s related to the period of time that rollover processes are running which can delay the time in which the server runs these other processes.

For the most part it seems most thread count changes happen between :05 and :15 – :35-:45

Ohhh, that explains it. One day I swore it changed at :14, and then another it changed shortly after the hour, and I thought I was just remembering wrong. Thanks!
