Bears can go bald. I used to have a toy teddy bear that I basically managed to remove all the fur from, by my constantly chewing on it (up until I was about 5, when it was disposed of without my knowledge or consent, by my mother who was fed up with repairing it) At the end, he was admittedly more an ‘unsanitary patchwork mess’ than a bear. A hard lesson at a young age, for the bear and me.

I’m not sure how this translates as a relevant example for Bruce Bear though. Maybe someone is chewing on him.
