it was actually an effort to preserve game history, if people could make a new tsb newer players would get confused by the wiki articles, as the tsb they see was nothing like the one on the wiki

Our recent decision to change names is to facilitate a deeper understanding of the complexity of the games. Evil Trout was nice enough to bumist with that and we decided to reserve the old name in order to prevent confusion on the part of new players. After all improving the quality of the game and it’s bumociated community is our number one goal.
