As he injects the drug into his system, Almeda feels his adrenalin pumping, and a red fury overtake him. His burns are replaced by fresh pink skin, his bullet wounds close. And he wants to kill. Oh god does he want to kill.

Rounding the corner, he is barely missed by an ex-human’s pistol. Screaming incomprehensibly at the monster, Almeda grabs it by the hair and in one brutish motion rips its head clean off. Tossing it aside, he runs on, running into a group of imps. He takes a direct hit from a fireball, but it only serves to make him angrier. Pulling the trigger repeatedly in a frenzy, the alarmed creatures are soon all dead. Marching through the bodies, he feels the effects of the drug wearing off. A little disappointed, he rounds the corner, to find that the imps weren’t alone…..
