Angle to the side, and shoot the barrel at the far left of the room, if that was near where the cacodemon was. Shoot the former humans etc if you have to. If the cacodemon shows up, get into an angle where it can’t fire at you. Use medpack at some point.

Ignoring the ex-humans, Bamps edges to the right. Suddenly, the air is filled with bullets! Through a bloody haze, Bamp sees a captain preparing the fire its chaingun again. Shaking, he scores several shots to the head, felling the creature. Then out of the darkness, he is grazed by shotgun pellets. Close to death, he hears, seemingly from another world, the harsh hiss of the cacodemon. His vision fading in and out of focus, the marine spins weakly to see the monster glaring at him from within the room.
