Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, this week has played out far more aggressively across the board. People don’t normally have to put up with this level of **** unless they are in a top bracket or have ****ed someone off. I would love to know how many total scoops have been destroyed per bracket this round, it is a seriously epic number.

The whole thing is in large part due to the TSB hit list. While TSB pretty much fizzled due to a canceled raid, every other regular Domination player went into the week expecting pure griefing. (See, don’t be sad – we griefed each other for you! Log in to see images!) The only real counter to the threat of serious griefing in this game is preemptive strikes. Keeping the board as free of scoops as possible eliminates the possibility of those scoops being turned in for destructive power. I’ve destroyed an insane amount of scoops this week and it felt less griefy than anything I’ve played in a long time. It wasn’t a matter of “Hmmmm, who should I hit? Ah, I have picked on that one yet!” it was “Who is a known Dom player or TSB member. Who has cards with exposed scoops. Plink to see if they have an active Shield. Destroy all their scoops. Now destroy the scoops of anyone who has a bunch of scoops, so they can’t convert to cards when they realize they have already lost this week.”

The point, and I know several players have actually already mentioned it to BINGEBOT 2015, something should be done about The bumhole. A few aggressive players should not be able to decimate a bracket of any size, let alone one as large as these have been. There is a big problem though, if there aren’t a very decent number of threatening cards there is no point in playing out the scene. There is no “protective” card that is worth turning scoops in for if there isn’t the danger of an attack being launched. He who manages the best raid/visits/Forumbuildr combo would be unstoppable. My personal opinion, The Shield is far more powerful than The bumhole. The introduction of The Shield shifted the game from speed/luck/aggression/maybe-we-can-tie to speed/luck/what-is-the-minimum-going-to-be. A nerf or added cost to The bumhole would help. An added cost to The Shield would help. More Dom cards diluting the pool and making it harder to focus on a single minded strategy would be the best solution.
