This is completely metaphorical so don’t take it personally.

Let’s say (metaphorically of course) that there was a bunch of people who got together….let’s say they all ride to school together on the same short bus.

Now let’s say that these people all had VERY childish senses of humor, but each of them told each other that they were cool and funny, even though they really weren’t.

Let’s also say that these people who thought they were funny and cool, though they really weren’t but were actually just juvenile and stupid, went around telling everyone all the time how cool and funny they were, and telling anyone who didn’t think they were, to go away.

Let’s say that they told everyone how cool and funny they were SO often, that the group started to get larger and larger.

Mostly because, other people who desperately wanted to fit in, and have friends, and validation for their sad empty lives, joined the group.

Now all of a sudden the group is VERY large, and carries a lot of weight on the school yard, and almost no one dares to tell these people just how NOT funny they really usually are.

What do you think the name of that group would be?
