I don’t think that just increasing damage would be a good way to solve this. I’d prefer that trolls get their own specific advantages that don’t just involve more damage. Hence, the following ideas:
Trolls love getting people angry and thrive on the suffering of others. Hence, let’s have the Troll gain some Ego each time he successfully damages his opponent with a Troll attack. This will give him more staying power and allow him to leverage the high Douchebaggary-recovery items to only have to heal occasionally while slowly and consistently damaging his opponents.
OR
Each attack also has a possibility to miss. Hence, one can no longer be sure that a thread will be one-shotted.
OR
Have a new Re-re attack which just taunts the enemies. The more you taunt, the more credit you get when the thread is pwned percentage based. Trolls have a higher defense, and would be able to taunt more and hence get more credit and flezz out of the thread. Sonpansatan edited this message on 04/27/2008 6:00PM |
