To be fair, the battles in Torment could’ve been better, the locations after Sigil felt a little rushed and playing it on modern computers is problematic due to its low resolution and some graphical bugs. That said… it still has the best written story in any video game I’ve ever played, and is probably the only game I would consider to have literary value outside of gaming. |

I haven’t seen Sim City 2000 mentioned anywhere… weird… I mean, if aliens were to come to earth and ask us what our greatest achievement in ****ing history is, I would have to give them Sim City 2000 and say “here, play this”

Let’s see… I’m freaking old, and I’ve played games since the Atari 400… but I didn’t have much fun with most games in those days, so there’s not a lot of old-school on this list. Now that I’m making a list, I’m finding no logical pattern in the games I had the most fun with.
Suikoden (never got to play the 2nd game)

We Love Katamari
Def Jam: Fight for New York
WarioWare
Elite Beat Agents
And the single game I had the most fun with ever was Battletech in Virtual World’s simulators.
