Because it’s awesome. I basically only see my desktop when I reboot, which is every month or two. I usually have a browser, mIRC, a command prompt, fifteen windows explorer windows (including the desktop in list form), and some other various apps open, so nothing there gets much screentime.

i got it from a forum i frequent. they had a thread called “grafitti wisdom” where people posted pictures of interesting grafitti that they had seen (often with sayings or witty/philosophical phrases) and someone posted that picture. so i downloaded it and use it as a wallpaper. it’s a very simple image, but it looks good.

Mine is usually like sancdars – though I don’t let it get quite that bad.
I’d post a screenshot, but it would just be 3 copies of the same boring “ripple” background that comes with windows. Ever since I hooked my TV up as a third monitor, my video drivers have been acting up if I try to do fancy things like different backgrounds per display. |
