Never have, never will, I’ll be honest, I would never pay a recurring payment to play a game. I’m okay with one times payments for certain things, but never would I keep paying, which is the case with WoW. |

Used to play WoW. Had a 70 Priest named Zalasta. I organized both sets of Priest riots, and I’ve become a well-known person on the WoW off-topic forums using my toon named Maylia. |

i periodically log in, but i don’t have the wherewithal to start a group or do anything constructive… the game is such a waste of precious, precious time.
the only enjoyment to be had is generally upsetting people by deliberately doing/saying the wrong thing.

I played it for 2+ years (quitting twice in betwixt) and then just got bored because the person I was playing with quit.
The game is just the same ole, same ole after a while, and not even doing 5-player things with 2 players can really make it all that challenging.
But then again I was never interested enough to dish out the cash for my own account (Though I did pay for the game) Part of the sad truth is that if you play for at least 5 hours a week, it’s much cheaper entertainment than going to a movie theatre.
Towards the end though, I found myself not even playing for more than 2 hours a week.
Unfortunately there are a lot of ill natured greed mongers in the game that make socializing more pain than it’s worth. The intelligence of the playing crowd gives me a headache. It’s really sad because at least a few of those people are actually really smart and generally good natured when NOT playing WoW.
Edit: Just as a random extra fact, I wasted enough time on that game to get 3 characters to level 70, and about 4 over level 40 R3I edited this message on 08/03/2008 8:21AM |

I had a 70 orc rogue and a 70 troll priest on the Feathermoon realm.
Stopped playing actively a year or so ago. I kept paying for my subscription just so I could troll the forums. |

Haha, Feathermoon would be an Ideal forum to Troll, it’s the realm with the whole Tram fiasco (No I dont really expect anyone to know what I am talking about)
I used to play on Feathermoon. Alliance side though, sadly. I have to admit I enjoyed the horde so much more. |

Believe it or not, tram trolling grew pretty stale after a while. Every single wannabe wiseguy, when he came upon the epic yar yar hump hump story, decided it’d be fresh and original to start a thread about it on our boards.
No, the best trolling on Feathermoon was of the PvP vs. RP variety. And my most epic moment was trolling a tauren hunter so hard he broke down, posted 10 threads with racials slurs in the title directed at me and my guild, in all caps obviously, and got a ban as a result. Good times.
[edit] What guild were you in? I was a guild leader of <The Sidewinder Band> Hordeside, and played with the <Wildfire Riders> A-side. LeFox edited this message on 08/05/2008 11:22PM |
