Well it was inevitable, but my DeviousArtists account has been suspended for a week due to what the fascist management of their so called “forum” has called :

Multiple flagrant violations of the code of conduct and posting rules

Which is nothing more than an excuse for being too spineless to stand up to the social mores that keep them trapped in their boring little world of irrelevance.

Of course my need to create will not be denied, so for the next week I’ll be posting pieces here, where I might get the respect that has been so ignobly denied me at that other community.

If you’re unfamiliar with my work, which I can forgive if only because of the needless censorship that has dogged me on every step of my artistic journey, it’s quite simple: I paint whatever comes into my head at the moment, and compose an accompanying Haiku to explain my feelings as I create.

Because the posting guidelines even here contain the childish need to protect you from “Shock Images” I’ll have to post links to the work at the end of each message. But remember that the two are meant to be experienced as one.

So click if you aren’t afraid of having your fragile worldview exploded into a million pieces by images that your self-appointed baby-sitters have deemed too offensive for your chaste eyes.

Thanks for your support Dhampyr and Janie. It’s good to know that there are some kindred souls here that understand.

It’s no surprise that most of the responses to my work so far are filled with juvenile humor; people often lash out at what they do not understand.

So my question is : What are you so afraid of? Are you scared that if you let art into your life you’ll be so changed by the experience; you won’t even know who you are any more?

I’ll let you ponder that as you contemplate my latest piece in this series.

It seems that no one has been able to find the words to describe my last piece. It’s understandable, I often find myself speechless when confronted with the frightening and awful truth of the world.

It seems even fitting, as revolutionary work is never truly appreciated in its time. Future generations will look back on the denizens of this board and shake their heads sadly, thinking “how did they miss this moment; staring them right in the face”.

Most people would like to just keep their heads in the sand, and pretend anything that might challenge their view of the world doesn’t exist.

It is comments such as this that both hurt, and spur me on. When I am confronted by this kind of sheer ignorance, I must redouble my efforts to get the awe-inspiring truth out to people. They can fight against reality as hard as they want, but they’ll fail in the end.
