Hello AAHZ, thank you for joining me. How have you been? One of us disappeared for a while and so we both disappeared for each other.
Okay, my first question would be is; In the earlier days of Forumwarz did it show promise? Were you surprised at what it became by Episode Three?

Early Forumwarz reminded me of the early days of the internet… a BBS named: Prodigy (I’m THAT much of an oldfabulous person lol.) That site had various “clans” of people invading each other’s “space” so to speak. In fact the first klan I made here, Kamikaze Pizza Co, was named after the “clan” I was in on Prodigy. So for ME Forumwarz showed promise because I knew I would have fun on the forums. The game itself came in second for me.
As far as Episode Three to be honest the plot of the game became so confusing for me that I didn’t even understand what was happening. I just pressed “1, 2, 1, 2” and beat the game without paying attention to the plot. Trout DID seem to close out the story at the end so between that and the shrinking community I wasn’t that surprised at what it became. AAHZ edited this message on 02/12/2016 3:10PM |

I can agree with you on that. I thought that because the game isn’t repayable, so to speak, it became secondary.
What do you think Forumwarz would have become without the “Roleplaying” section of Flamebate? Would you have stuck around? |

Without the RP section a lot of users (including me) that became household names around here would not have stuck around, but the game itself would have survived and the CD section would have became moar popular, possibly even less moderated in the site’s prime.
So I think the site would have balanced itself out and not much would have changed. Except it having no AAHZ, so that answers your second question. I already have another site I poast at for my CD stuff.

lol sorry but no. I’ve got to go with Mobb Deep on that one. I’m a bit biased on this topic since I’ve followed them for several decades, but they HAVE stood the test of time.

I was not in charge of a clan on Prodigy, I was just a member. I later joined a few others but I was never the guy who started it.
As far as running a Klan on Forumwarz it was one of the biggest mistakes I made on here. I was in bad shape IRL (addictions, mental illness) and was not capable of leading myself, much less a klan of people. Luckily I killed it off when I did and then enjoyed being a member of other klans (Klan **** YOU, **** Bucket, Encyclopedia Dramatica) and some others for the rest of my days here.
I briefly make another klan with just my alts in it, and actually got lots of people that wanted to join, but I quickly killed it off weeks later. |
