You open the gate to the ancient dungeon. Your torch casts a dim light down the dark, tenebrous corridor. You remember the dying man who gave you the map’s last words: “Ugggghhhhhh.”

Of course, you didn’t have to stab him to get the map, it just seemed like the right thing to do.

There is a red door on the left, a green door on the right, and more dark corridor ahead.

A whaling noise echoes from down the corridor. It could be the souls of other adventurers crying in tormented agony. Or maybe the dungeon’s denizens had bad mexican for lunch.

Which way do you go?

I cast fireball and shoot it down the hallway.

There is a shriek as you incinerate some hapless Kobolds! The torches on the walls are now lit as well.

You also see that the baby the nearby town had paid you to rescue was killed in the blast. OOPS! Did I forget to mention that side quest?
