Well, it seems that there are now at least three of us (Bandaney, jenny6969, and myself) who are offering art commissions for BP. And I know that, at least in the threads I’ve made, there have been comments along the lines of “Wouldn’t it be cool if we had an ‘I’ll do cool stuff for BP’ forum?”

Wellllllll. Wouldn’t it? >_>

So I’m wondering how best to suggest that. I don’t know if I should PM a mod, start some sort of petition, or just make a topic like this one.

Clearly, people could do things other than visual art. Like… maybe you could commission things like short stories, poems, get help with editing/revising a paper, a short video/animation, etc.

Just an idea, but one I’d like to see happen.

No, but a general arts sub-forum is something that could be discussed. On the other hand, we already have Phantasmagoric Splendor: Super-Secret Forum.

Just like the contests forum then… mostly full of one after another “1 whole BP to some randomer when I get a peen that I’ll probably never get” contests, occasionally something half decent.

It could work. Or at least be tolerated.

Well, if you just make one of the rules of the forum that the artists/sign-maker/whoever has to provide examples, people will know what they’re paying for, soooo. Bandaney, jenny6969 and I all have examples listed in our threads so that the… customers? can easily tell what kind of quality to expect. And they can decide whether it’s worth it from there.

I mean, sure, there’ll be people offering to do things like little doodles or bad signs or whatever, but if they’re really that bad, they won’t get any customers, the thread will die, and it won’t be much of a problem.

Or if that’s what people want, they’ll get custom and thrive. So long as the ****-merchants aren’t constantly bumping their ****-threads in a lame attempt to promote their ****, it’d work.

Could probably work in some rule that puts restrictions on bumping.
