I think the spirit of that rule is “Don’t do **** that annoys other users with your contests”. Unless you want to argue that having a million Tubmails in his inbox inconveniences anyone other than CrinkzPipe, he doesn’t seem to violate any rules as they’re written.

That said, it wouldn’t surprise me to see this thread go the way of Hobart’s toxx contest.

I’m just saying that the wording of that rule is vague enough that this contest could be shut down, were any of the mods so inclined. That is not my wish and I wish you the best in this endeavour Crinkz but this is an issue, as the rule is ambiguous.

Mod opinion: This doesn’t violate the rules *as stated*, but I’m going to poke ET to see what this will do to hosting. The auto-forwards of tubmails to your email could seriously **** with hosting fees. Last time MST did this, it cost a crapload of money for ET.

Would appreciate holding off til there’s time for ET to weigh in, please.

1,000,000 tubmails is an insane number. To do that, someone would have to write a script (illegal). You’re offering one lousy BP to a one-in-a-million shot, which really doesn’t do anybody any good. Not that I think you could accurately determine the one millionth received.

There’s only about 200,000 unique people signed up, and even less active, and even fewer who read the forums.

Meaning there’s only a handful of people who’d enter, and for you to get to 1,000,000, at least one of them would have to script.
