what happened to wordfilters not being allowed to be commonly used words. and not being allowed to be loads longer than the original?
There are at least three filters like this. rofl, lol, lmao.
i, for one, think wordfilter abuse can be hilarious but this is far from either. |

Note: We will reject word filters for very common words, such as “the” => “LOL DONGS.”
So we can have a confirmation that this rule no longer applies? Since we can all agree that lol, rofl, and lmao are common words.
Since it’s confirmed that the lol filter was added because a mod got amused by it (and, unlike the 2 other filters, lol is related to CYBER LAUGH. that was the reasoning to the lol’s filter approval. lmao is not related to Please ban me for one week), can we get a new set of rules? |
