I’ve got a game up, and people say it’s very difficult.
So, solve the puzzle at http://tinyurl.com/clockpuzzle as fast as you can (it’s solved if all hands on both sides point at 12), save the highscore and post your kong name and a screenshot of your score here. (note, make a screenshot before you press submit. the window closes after submitting.)
The fastest one on hard gets 15 bp!
you got till november 10 Alfred Nonymous edited this message on 10/29/2009 3:28PM |

It’s not the puzzle that’s hard, it’s the obtuse controls that make it damn near impossible. |

Yeah screw it, the controls are horrible, the objective of the game isn’t explained at all. |

EDIT: Okay, but that’s not exactly true.
Looks to me like you have to get all hands to point to the 12. You can click on any of the four yellow/black dots and any of the four corner clocks. Clicking on a clock rotates it and any other clocks in its group. Groups are based on which of the yellow/black dots are yellow or black. Play with that for about a minute and you’ll get the hang of the controls.
Flip I don’t get at all though. MC Banhammer edited this message on 10/29/2009 4:30PM |

Should have known from the “Rubik” in the name that I was going to reach a point where trying to advance would only undo what I’ve already done. Stupid puzzle Log in to see images! |

its the other side of the puzzle. there are two sides and changing things on one side affects things on the other
its a lot easier to understand when you are physically holding one. |

It’s not explained well
the bumons in the middle do something. Click the CORNER clocks to rotate. Clocks point at 12? you win the game

I reccommend you to press the solve bumon a few times just to see how the computer (me) does it and there are dozens of rubik’s clock tutorials online.
about flip. The puzzle has two sides, you just have to know the clocks on the outside on the front and back are connected (you can’t turn the left up front clock without turning the right up back clock) and the bumons are always pushed in on one side and pulled out on another (so YY on the other side is bb (Y is yellow, b = black) bb…............................YY
also, if less then 5 people solve it on hard by the 10th I will pick one of the people who solved easy (one side) Alfred Nonymous edited this message on 10/30/2009 5:28AM |
