woman's genitalspasted from my friend weev’s post.
He has been closing the doors to Guantanamo and opened the doors wide to the legal black hole of the Bagram detention facility, where conditions are worse than they ever were at Gitmo. He has not signed an executive order to end rendition and it still continues to this day.
He did not open his lips or raise a finger in opposition when the Jews covered Gaza’s UN schools and hospitals in white phosphorus, permanently mutilating women and children.
He has fervently worked to protect against accountability and transparency for the last eight years of war crimes.
Lastly, he has personally ordered many airstrikes upon Afghanistan. Let us remember the truth of Obama’s “legacy of peace”

A peacemaker? Give me a break.
Of note: At least 178 Jews and persons of half- or three-quarters-Jewish ancestry have been awarded the Nobel Prize, accounting for 23% of all individual recipients worldwide between 1901 and 2008.”

Mod Edit: Changed embedded pic to a link. It’s too close to shock for CD embedding even though it’s germane to the conversation. (Whether or not anyone agrees) |

Since when was the Nobel peace prize a real Nobel prize, anyway?Log in to see images! Bono’s been nominated three times just for throwing rock star money at poor countries. This isn’t a statement on Obama, it’s a statement on the ****-poor Nobel committee! |

I don’t think any president whose country has their troops out at war deserve a prize for ‘peace.’
Even if he did great things deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize, they should give it to him once his presidency is over. |

I saw the guy from the comittee on TV defending his colleague’s action. Apprently Obama did the most for peace ‘that year’ which I think is a fair enough observation. Also, when asked, he didn’t rule out the possibility of Obama being nominated again at the end of his presidency. |

Personally, I just do not think he has done anything substantial enough yet that qualifies him to get the Peace Prize. What do you think? |
