A good business idea is fixing things wrong with the site itself and adding more ways to spend bp, such as the smiley’s by our names.

No, you really can’t play it on an ordinary cell phone.

A few people might buy custom smileys, but that’s not going to make or break our business. Besides, there’s room to do those things and expand into the iPhone market. Companies sometimes do more than one thing!

Or, the non-sarcastic answer: We still haven’t determined a way to address dumpvoting. As far as I can tell, there’s no simple and effective method to force people to vote a certain way. But we are thinking about it.

Remove one of the causes of the problem perhaps.

I think I posted something to this effect earlier, but: Currently there are not enough Protivate players to break them out into their own room. So, it’s better to put them on this site with its sometimes unruly but well-meaning citizens, than in a room with just three players.

I have a nagging concern that all this bumhurt whining in here has left me with.

For months now, INCIT has been practically rectal cancer. It’s like, cancer in and amongst ****. Everyone ****es and whines about it, it’s the “in” thing to do.

Now, for the first time potentially, the game could actually go uphill, as a widely varied userbase that isn’t composed of lifeless morons and internet-addicted trolls is getting exposed to the game. A member puts up a ****load of Brownie Points trying to incent the playerbase to change to better voting habits.

And what do you all do?

Do your absolute darnedest to ensure that it stays a stinking ****pile with spamming, scripting, you name it.

For all the people whining about how “The users are the problem, the people who dumpvote are the problem, not the game!” guess what? YOU’RE THE ****ING PROBLEM.

JB’s finally just flipping you all off and doing what’s in the best interest of their new venture, and I for one applaud his use of balls. (Lord knows they don’t get used often.) So suck it up and deal with it.

What if it turns out that exposing this to the general population ends up looking exactly like incit does now. I know more than a few people who, if they found that app, would be perfectly happy spamming it in the same way. Are you going to ban them from the app as well?

Geez, are you gonna send hired goons after us? If people are spamming INCIT/Protivate, we’ll have to kick them. This kind of thing is one of the pitfalls of any site where users are allowed to generate content. It’s not unique to Forumwarz.

Wrong, Shii. INCIT has always been terrible. I never thought it was funny even when it was dominated by 70cs. No one that’s not an INCIT player has ever had anything good to say about it. The format itself does not lend itself to humor often enough for the 5 people who will ever by it on their iphone to save it from the abyss.
