The creepy horror effects are great. I got all the way to the last boss and couldn’t beat it, so I quit in frustration.
Silent Hill 2 is probably a better horror game, but it’s also full of stupid dialogue and characters acting in completely irrational ways.
Recently I played Condemned: Criminal Origins and I found it very scary and well done for a horror game. |

By the last boss do you mean the last one the first time around or the last one the third time around? In either case the Liche guy is easy to beat all three times if you use a basic strategy and opening the 9 point spell is always easy. |

It was fun to try stuff to make spells, but once you beat the game and realize you get a scroll for every spell there is, it’s pretty dumb.
Also, I remmeber playing the game by never healing my sanity except right before it started hurting my HP. It was a better game played that way. ChilePepino edited this message on 09/03/2009 2:54PM |

The game design was not the best IMO, I remember that restart points put you in unfair situations. There was no way to restore your HP and I had to start over. The atmosphere though was very good. |

dude… once you got the purple guy sign (i forgot the names) all you had to do is wait until your magic bar filled in time, cast the healing spell and hp, magic and sanity got healed at once. so you could keep doing it to max your hp and sanity and using 0 magic. |
