That had 5 entries when voting first started. Takes a lot of effort to re-size the third result in Google Images search for ”Fuzzy Handcuff’s”, Especially when it’s resizing from 400x400 to 200x200. |

You just need a tiny bit of knowledge on GIMP/Photoshop/Corel Draw to resize it… and then some idiot wins with exactly the same entry… how lame. |

If/when I’m paying attention to Itembuildr, I take a look early on in proceedings and vote down duplicate entries no matter how appropriate they are.
Hereby suggesting that some dedicated individual does this every 2 days and starts some kind of “dupe-watch” thread so that anyone who cares can take a look and downvote the ****ty dupes. Or just start the thread and let anyone who can take a screenshot fill in the details.
Speaking personally, I give a pbum to anything where they’ve done more shopping than cropping – at least there’s some effort there. If anyone decides to run with this idea it might be an idea to scan the first few pages of an image search on obvious keywords too – even if it’s not been submitted 5 times it still shows a lack of originality to just copypaste something. |
