I guess you could leave it running overnight and just start making lines on the top of wherever it filled up to… as seen in that there screenshot. That, or as it turns out you can put a machine onto Standby/Hibernate and it’ll pause both the game and the timer. I could have used that to keep a single run going for an arbitrary length of time but didn’t feel like cheating… or playing that much tetris to be honest.
