The Wonderful Winners!

We had a decent turnout, especially at the end. I’m pleased to say that we more than managed to transcribe the entire Podcast! The transcript is being edited and condensed and will be available on the wiki sometime in the near future. Wonderful!

Without circling the male reproductive organ yet more, here are your winners!

FIRST PLACE: Generichaxor. This guy managed to transcribe the entire podcast, and it turns out he didn’t waste his time! The quality and formatting was consistently good and clear, and the quotes crisp and attributed. Self-commentary in this thread was also amusing. Nice! Thanks!

SECOND PLACE: Crocen. Very nice formatting, spelling and bolding of questions asked. Lovely job.

THIRD PLACE: Pseudonymph. I’m glad you had a good time transcribing this, because I had a good time reading it! Good formatting, clear text, and perhaps the best categorization. You’re a natural!

HONORABLE MENTION: Listen2Reason. Awesome formatting and emphasis. You’ve got talent.

My hat goes off to these skilled and dedicated typists. Winners, if and when there are future Podcasts, you’ll be first on the list to be asked to transcribe for some nice brownies.

Aside from our three winners, we had six other confirmed entrants, who took the time and effort to do this. Though you were warned it was tedious work, we want to reward everyone for their effort.

As I was saying to Bashy, if something like this comes up again, I’ll do my best to be more precise with my diction. I can’t imagine it was much fun typing out every annoying, involuntary mouthfart.

We’ll take a look at the three winners again and possibly try to “secure” a scribe for future jobs. At that point, the originally-mentioned Transcription E-Peen may well become available, though this and its related details are of course up to Jalapeno Bootyhole.

J.B., who is a blackward Blow Job, also mentions that there may be some BP and/or a possible CollaboPeen for a person who volunteers to optimize, condense and perfect the text(s?) once it hits Spoilerpedia. But, again, these are preliminary ideas and we’ll have to [politely!] pester him about that particular bridge to be crossed.

I really hope you all enjoyed this contest and feel you got something out of it, if only some good typing practice and a browniepoint. It’s truly appreciated.

I got typing practice, I got a brownie point, and, yes, I’m willing to pester the hell outta JB for another opportunity like this. I did like doing it, but, he really says “uh” a lot, and there were fireworks in the background ‘cos some idiots were making a party.

Also, I join in the effort to push JB into awarding an E-Peen for this, and also would like to sign up for the wikification thing. Yay!
