There should be a free-for-all forum.

Make a forum in General RP where nothing is bannable (except illegal **** and scripting so there aren’t 30,000 posts in 1 day). I bet there would be a fraction of the bans there are today, because come on… everybody has to post goatse sometime.

You could also make it to where threads from this forum never appeared in the active topics so people didn’t accidentally go there.

People accidently read the RP forums while at work (AHAHAHAHAHA), so they can’t run into NSFW things.

The FFA forum would have a warning right before entering it, and in case you entered and got offended anyway you would be the one banned since you were stupid enough to ignore the warnings Log in to see images!

I feel like a subforum like this is the one “taste” that isn’t being pandered to here, and I imagine a lot of this arises from the absolute nightmare this forum would be to moderate. In defense of CZ, this is probably as good a reason as any to not have this forum.

I believe that a forum like this would actually clean up the place a little bit, and would certainly cut down on all the ****ing about unclear rules and “the spirit of the law”. By giving users a “safe” place to post unsafe stuff, you reduce the need for judgement calls in the rest of flamebate. Of course people are still going to push boundaries, but with a ffa forum set up, the mods have the trump card of being able to say “if you just wanted to post this, and weren’t trying to troll where you aren’t allowed to, you would have just made a thread in the ffa forum.”

I understand that a multitude of other problems would arise from creating this forum, but I truly and honestly believe that the creation of this forum would suck a lot of the more quesitonable content in flamebate into a kind of black abyss, leaving the rest of flamebate a little bit cleaner. Think of it as the difference between a house with one toilet that doesn’t flush and a house with no toilet. The non-flushing toilet is disgusting, but at least the rest of the house doesn’t have **** all over it.
