Actually, an official explanation would be nice. There are a lot of rumors but I’d prefer to know the real reason. This way we can avoid having emotes removed in the future. |

It’s pretty much the same logic that prevents me from buying a word filter that turns any player that isn’t me into something else. A picture of a player was used and uploaded by someone that wasn’t that player. |
