This. Also this only shows what happens if you don’t use common sense along some general guidelines but stick to unflexible rules. That’s the way to tyranny! Free was and gigerth!

But seriously, I understand why the mods prefer precise rules, they have to justify every damn decision they make and that’s difficult if you can’t refer to rules but the specific rule in this case just doesn’t make sense or to be more precise it wasn’t well-defined.

So now the central question becomes not “how often and where are the rules defined”, but rather, “what is the most effective and fair interpretation of the rules?” which is a much more vexing issue.

You guys have a mod forum where you can make sure you’re all on the same page. In the case of gigerth and was, this was a difficult, questionable call.

I have an idea. How about we remove all the rules and make only one rule- if it irritates the mods, you’re banned.
