It’s annoying, and also slows down your browser. I think now that image spamming has been stopped, smiley spamming should be stopped too.

I suppose it should be enough if there’s a limit of up to 100 smileys per post?

The smilie spam is no problem in chrome or safari, only in firefox… Log in to see images!

But of course firefox is the best browser for all other purposes and i just can’t do without it

Tried it in Firefox, and I dunno I could load up all my old heartspam and http://www.forumwarz.com/discussions/view/16599 with a negligible difference (no loading at all)

Anyways, how much is it slowing you down? How long does it take to load?

for example this thread is taking about an extra 2 seconds to load due to the smilies.

The extreme ones can take 20-30 seconds extra to load.

And you probably have to search for these threads When they do pop up rarely then it’s just 30 seconds, you could either wait or do something in another window in that very short amount of time.

Anyways it’s not the site’s issue it’s yours, Firefox is fine, I even have a couple addons like ABP and greasemonkey. Fix it on your end instead of demanding stuff to accommodate you.

Even then it’s 20 seconds of your internet life on some the worst spam on flamebate, how often do you run into that really? How much does it really inconvenience you anyway? And how much do you really care?

about 6.5 in a scale of 10. Since that thread was meant for forming flamebate score, those spam are quite detrimental to my goal, people could be discouraged to post in my thread.
