This is how Truly Bad Ideas get started. It’s better to understand a thing and its implications first, then figure out the best way to implement it. If nothing else, a terrible implementation of a potentially good idea creates a bias against even good implementations of the same idea. |

Making it into a Buildr forces it into the game, whereas a nice safe way of doing things is a very informal system of posting ideas in Flamebate and discussing them and hoping a few get picked up if they happen to be any good.
This way more ideas are out there but we don’t have to worry about some 12 year old “haha he said fine upstanding member of society male reproductive organs LOL!” voting stampede.
