Also, I’ve never seen Come to Daddy as one of his stronger songs. I think he himself has said it’s gotten way bigger than it ever should’ve. |

I don’t pay for a lot of music but i do have quite a collection of Richard James/AFX/Aphex Twin.
I got my first of his albums at a sale for about 25 cents, it was “I care because you do” and it’s still one of my favourite records.
Windowlicker is a phenomenal track, and Selected Ambient Works II is just an experience in and of itself that i would recommend to anyone looking to expand their definition of music, to just mention a couple of highlights from his repertoire.
Plus it was through AFX that I learnt about Boards Of Canada who are on the same label.
