Sorry everyone, I’ve been meaning to do this, but I’ve been busy the last few days, personal thing. I’ll put the thread up tomorrow for sure, and yes there will be a time extension. I’m not sure of the exact date, but I’ll be sure to give you guys enough time. In the mean time our finalists can start to decide on a group song.

My way. Meh. Not my favorite by Sinatra and imho a bit boring. I’d rather go for fly me to the moon or, got you under my skin. But yeah, Sinatra sounds good since you can change it up quite easily.

Can anyone confirm that Sinatra is a go? I really want to get started with this.

We can’t just agree on an artist, we have to agree on a song.

I’m not familiar enough to go with those 2 songs. Any other suggestions or comments on the other choices mentioned ITT?

Like I said before: Nirvana would be my first choice, no matter what song. But I can see that neither of your voices would be very suitable…unless you don’t mind.

I’m perfectly willing to give Smells Like Teen Spirit a try. Hopefully I can find the background music for it somewhere, ‘cause with the instrumental parts that’d be a bit tough, I don’t know it well enough to simulate those with my voice.

Smells like teen spirit has my vote!! Oh and fort, you can definitely sing that song with an opera kind of voice. I will TM you a link that might give you an idea, although I’m afraid I don’t know if there is an instrumental version of that particular performance.

Although I am happy with the song, I don’t want Fort to get the short end of the stick here, so maybe an more calm song of Nirvana (man who sold the world, lithium, come as you are) would be a better choice?

This one’s reasonably ok, the lyrics are not entirely correct though. The “Hello hello” part should go “hello (3x) how low”.

I like the choice of doing Nirvana. However my post-grunge years are a bit disappointed about the choice of song.

But when it comes to Nirvana and all of your wonderful singing voices I guess I’ll take what I can get.
