Why don’t we just impliment the milestones so that if you do what you have to to get the peenafterit is released, then you get it, and if you do it before, you don’t. because its impossible to unpwn forums. and increase the amount of milestones by what the leader has.

ex:

ricket has 1503 forums pwned as of 3/2/09, so we have mile stones going up to 1500, bymultiples of 50. when ricket(or whomever is leading) has 1501, make a milestone for 1500. the person who topped the leaderboard can’t get the milestone, but everyone else can. then ricket can keep his ridiculously high forumpwned meter while everyone else gets a peen. thus making it a bad thing.

or to make it more clear:

as the leader goes up by fifty(or whichever incriments you chose) each time, after pwning the one after, a peen is made for a milestone for that fifty. anyone after the leader can get the peen, but the leader him/herself cannot. thus making it a bad thing to be on the leaderboard. but the leader could slow down, giving everyone else a chance at being leader and getting the topped peen. And the others would rush up quickly to get as many peens as possible. also have the mile stone incriments be miniscule, like .01 or .05. that way, everyone has a shot for an enormous e-peen length or a toptheleaderboard peen.

its only for this leaderboard since its near impossible to overtake the leader. in the others, you at least have a chance

and for the players interested in the leader boards, they can stay up fornt, or lag behind and collect the peens. other plans are crushed by the leader, cause its near impossible to overtake the leader(i kno i just said this)unless they let you. and im pretty sure you won’t let them ahead. you even said why in an earlier post that im too lazy to look up

Since apparently no one took note of my comment to begin with, allow me to restate:

How is someone hogging the top spot and not letting anyone get a peen worse than making it so no one else can ever get the peen EVER?

One way: NO ONE ever gets the peen. The other way, it’s pretty likely no one will get it. Either way it’s going to basically have the same effect.

So why the hell do people care? Buildr is the same way, but it’s sure as hell not stopping me from trying to get it. Just because it’s likely no one else will get it doesn’t mean it’s impossible, unless you remove the leaderboard entirely.

Removing a leaderboard is frankly just a stupid idea. Milestone peens in addition to leaderboard = good idea.

this is where my idea comes in. milestones and leaderboard. yes. and then the top spot fluctuates to give others a chance at topping the leaderboard. but then this works best if the top person is a peen whore and is willing to relinquish their top spot for more peen.

This is a bad idea. Again, why punish people for being the best? When some guy wins a race, you shake his hand, not punch him in the face.

I still don’t get how ensuring no one ever gets the peen is a better alternative to a peen that’s hard to get.

The only retired boards have been Cred and Gambling. Cred had to be retired because everyone would be in a tie now, so that’s not the same kind of deal.

I was saying that Jarwain’s idea to have the leader not eligible for consecutive peens is a bad one.

As one of the few people who can legitimately whine about Ricket dominating that leaderboard, I see no legitimate reason to whine about Ricket dominating that leaderboard.
