The forum is dead because of the dragon stuff, by god I don’t know whats more stupid us letting them go on, or them actually doing it.

The only way for the forums to be good ironically is for us to have our own forums, so that we can set the rules and do the job ET won’t.

Definitely implement the option to purchase additional klan forums. Evil Trout already told me he’d work on it, but at a later point (“later” probably meaning when nobody cares anymore). Actually it might be an interesting idea not only to have klan forums, but also some kind of private forums. Imagine a forum you could only invite all cool people to without them having to buy another alt. Log in to see images!

As for Flamebate itself, I bumume it’s difficult to find the right balance between discouraging bad posts and not having too many rules. What about a different approach: Ever considered to give an E-Peen to people whose threads got moved to Full of Won? Or just think of another way to reward funny stuff.

since this is game discussion, my opinions on how to ‘fix’ it would likely come across as a troll to someone and i would

probably catch a ban for saying something someone else be would be allowed to say, so forget it.

For God’s sake, make Dragons a bannable offense.

Add something like 4chan’s /r9k/, where only complete literacy (And maybe even no reposts) are allowed.

Add an ignore feature, so you can ignore certain users.

Get rid of the clbum-specific role-playing boards.

Make some sort of Flezz-sink forum shop. You could buy basic things with your Flezz, like making your name different colors or something on the forums.

Add more forum-related things to buy with Brownie Points. Custom boards and the like.

And one thing, not really community-related, but make a Themebuildr, so that we can have different pretty themes every week to choose from.

That’s actually not that bad of an idea. I never felt that that seperation made any sense, nor I felt that some threads were better placed in one particular forum than in another. Maybe it would be better to think of other subforums which are more theme-related… (like Whiny ****es for example).

I generally like the clbum theme of the forums. In spite of the recent influx of draginz, the themes do often hold. For example, Mice Paced Ohm’s awesome “I am an artist” thread where he broke tables, spammed huge quotes and generally showed off his forum hacking skillz.

Great! Sell fwz web browsers in a store or kyoubai that change the theme and stuff.

Sig, I’m sure you can say stuff without directly insulting and trolling people.

One Clear Suggestion would be to moderate RP forums better, like banning hackers, emo kids, and camwhores that are trolling with troll tactics, if you are going to RP you should RP your clbum.
