I would say, if you want to make a name for yourself here, don’t be intimidated by frequent long-time posters. Just be yourself.
If you’re funny or interesting, people will come to accept you as one of their own. Don’t post too frequently, but don’t post too sparsely either.
Also, mods and admins have been accused of playing favorites. While this is categorically untrue, it can’t hurt to treat them well.
