Why is ; the regular keystroke and : the "shift" keystroke don't people use regular colons more ofter than semi-colons?

I use semicolons a lot more, too. Colons are a rare occurrence; I abuse semicolons a little, I think. |

I almost never use semicolons just because I think they look stupid. I intentionally avoid sentence structure that would require them.

This. I’m always expected to have various sentence structures in any formal writing bumignment I have; it helps a lot. I’ve come to favor the semicolon over other types of sentence combination.

You guys are all ****ing idiots. The keyboard was designed by and for programmers. Statements in most programming languages end in a semi-colon. Colons are almost never used (except in languages like C++, for providing the clbum containing method). So, every programming “sentence” ends in a ****ing semi-colon.
FOR FUKKEN EXAMPLE: include <stdio>; int main(void) { double x = 0.0000001; char[] flava = char[100]; flava = “These fools don’t know **** about my”; printf(“%s semi-colons\n”,flava); return 0; }
