I am allowed to have some time myself between puzzles, considering that I didn’t expect almost all of you to solve it so quickly. Although I suspect some of you used artificial bumistance, but that’s okay. I never stipulated whether or not that was allowed.

Tomorrow we’ll look at what should be the final phase.

If you want your puzzles to be solved by thought instead of Google, don’t use something so standard. You might want to try a puzzle that you think no one will immediately be able to solve this time.

You don’t need to quit; Puzzle 5 is really easy, so you can get a tool to do all of your work for you.

I know. I don’t know where the proper difficulty or obscurity levels lie, but my contest seems to be too high in both.

Since I had been delayed by my ban and I didn’t know whether Puzzle 5 was the last puzzle, I wanted to finish it as quickly as I could. Given the difficulty of these recent puzzles, I suspect that Puzzle 6 will come down to who checks their mail first.

Point taken. But did EB ever said that it is a “1st person to solve last puzzle = winner” race? (Maybe I’ve missed, dunno). If yes, then so be it… but perhaps he’ll get us something more open ended for the last stage, like “deadline is this and that, best solution wins”?
