Gran Torino is a really great movie. I will say the movie doesn’t compromise it’s characters. Eastwood plays a grumpy, racist old man. Most movies would probably try to make him realize he shouldn’t say fine upstanding member of society because it’s offensive, or have him get happy-go-lucky. Gran Torino doesn’t do this. They have him change, there’s forward progression, but it’s a more realistic kind of change.

Yeah kinda wanted to go see it, But I know I’ll end up going to see Underworld instead. But they’re basically the same movie, right?
