As moar parts are not part of the auction house, we still need something to do about them, and their current messy implementation. To that end, two suggestions;
First option, trade-in multiple moar parts, and receive a single, random moar file part. This would be to increase the chance that you may complete a file, at the cost of losing file parts which may be useful in the longer term – i.e. short term, you get the file you want, longer term, you’ll be able to create less files, so not an attractive option for a moar file farmer.
1. Trade 5 parts of a specific file, for another random part of the same file.
2. Trade 5 parts of a range of files, for a random part of another file of the same ‘grade’. i.e. if you trade 5 +7 parts for different +7 files, you’ll get another one for another +7 file.
3. Trade 10 parts of a range of files for a part of a higher grade file. The lower down the scale the parts are, the less likely you will be to get a part of the best files, but there would still be a chance, possibly modified by luck. e.g. 10 +1 parts may snag you a +7 with 5% chance, 10 +2 parts may snage you a +7 with 10% chance.
Another option, more straightforward – simply a way of buying the last part(s) of an almost complete file. The price would be calculated based on the number of parts in the file, the rarity of the parts, and the number of missing parts. 1 part of a common 2 part file would be cheap. 1 part of Pink Floyd would be expensive. There would be a multiplier (possibly exponential) for larger numbers of parts. So e.g. 10 parts of a rare 25 part file would be extortionate. |

Or we can have a Kyoubai-Bot (5000?) that puts up rare moar parts once in a while and people will bid on such parts like crazy. |

if you do that..people will stop buying moar files..even if you buy the pink floyd moar file(it’s exemple) for sure you already had like…10 parts of it what i’m trying to say is..that..almost everybody that bought a moar file had parts of it already but couldn’t stand grinding anymore (don’t get me wrong..I’d love to be able to trade moar file parts..but it will ruin the auction system} |

If moar parts are as rare as moar files then there will be no problem. |

If that’s too complicated, that’s down to the original moar file part system, which is already way too bulky and messy.
What I described was I think as simple as we could get for something to do with moar parts, first option with some flexibility (select parts then a trade-in bumon) the other a dropdown to select the file to complete and an OK bumon after you see the price. |
