I’m not talking about the content of the images, I don’t care about that, it’s just a lot of the Forumbuildr stuff that is hosted on sites such as Imageshack. I know in the current top submissions alone, there are 7 images, quite a few (4) of those are hosted by Imageshack, which can be deleted by the uploader at anytime. I see this as a big problem since it is likely that the image will be deleted in the future and a broken image will be left on the forums.

I myself use images, but take them straight from ED, and ED has a strict no image deletion policy (unless it’s CP or legal issue obviously,) so I don’t see that as a problem. I think there should be trusted sites that should be used, or a controlled offsite (onsite would work too) upload service/image bank. I can’t really see a solution to this that would be easy, besides disabling images, which I don’t want at all.

I dunno if anyone else sees this as a problem or cares, just my thoughts on an issue I just noticed.

It would probably be best if Forumwarz hosted all images itself, to ensure that the forums’ content is preserved.

Unless they missed one, they don’t move them to their server. And yeah they could easily just move the winning images onto it, then just change the url in the Forumbuildr post. Best solution imo. ET already does some mystical **** to create the forums, I guess it would just take him like 5 more minutes to do it this way.
