Depends on their mood. This one stands on two paws and puts the other two on my arms while I’m on the computer. Then he stretches, and if I try to turn my face around to face him, I usually get slapped in the face Log in to see images! If I ignore him, he barks.. moar and moar. Sometimes when I say “wait for me to finish x, then I’ll open it for you” he stays quiet and rests his head on my foot and waits for a while. Repeating the process (more impatiently) if I forget/take too long. xD |

Hee. Sometimes I wonder how much dogs pick up from observing the people around them. They’re like small children, except you feel worse about telling them off. |

Only pet I ever had was a canary, and there’s just not the same level of bonding. |

That’s so true! I think they understand more than they seem to. They usually jump on me when I come down the stairs, and trying to stop them is pretty much poitless. But tonight when I got out from the shower, and came downstairs wearing a towel, they were sprinting to do their usual routine; but I said “Don’t jump! I’m in a towel D:” and, much to my surprise, they didn’t even try to. Log in to see images! |

The thing with my dog is that I may have picked him out of the litter when i was like 1, but when i was nine we got another house and he had to stay with my nan. He died when I was 16. It was sad and all; cause tears… But not as bad as my cousin’s dog. When he pbumed away (17) the other dog dug under the fence and ran the streets looking for him. She’s got really bad nerves and such now. got all stressed from it and chewed up the stairs in my aunties new house. Not good
I had birds. Twice. Both budgies. Got one, it died of a fungle infection. Got a second as a replacement, it learnt to open it’s cage door and got eaten by a feral cat. >_> They both lasted about a week each. |

I’ve had 3 bunnies, 9 hamsters, a dog and a cat (at the same time) in the past Log in to see images!
One of the rabbits was sick when we bought it (although it wasn’t clear at the time) and died soon after. The other two made a hole under the house Log in to see images! and we decided it was best to take them to a farm.
The cat disappeared after some years, puberty, cars, who knows the reason ;w; I picked him from the street too. The dog had a -non pleasant to view- death, by old age, though.
Before that we got another dog, and they had puppies. We kept one >w< I also had a rooster (cared for him since he was a chick Log in to see images! So we sent him to a breeding farm and my grandfather gave me a chicken and a rooster (that hatched 2 eggs), they had blue paws and beek and were pretty much no-fun-and-scared, so I gave them back >w< And not over 2 years ago (I have an awful notion of time..) a stray dog entered our house and decided to adopt us, so now I have 3 again xD |
