Recently, I downloaded Earthbound zero and an emulator. Apart from the slight control lag, which I bumume is a problem with the emulator, It’s pretty good. Then again, I’ve barely started it yet, so we’ll see. |

I’ll just keep shifting the capital letters around randomly and call it eaRthboUnd. That’s bound to confuse people.
Apparently the slight lag in emulators does screw around with Mother 3’s rhythm based battles, though. Guess I should take that as a sign to invest in a flash cart so I can play it on my DS. |

Or we can keep trolling Nintendo — all round-about stealthy and **** — until the release it here (and I guess other, less ‘merican, places, too) in some form, but that’d still take a damn long while compared to zipping (not the compression thing) it onto a cart.
Can you FEEL the beat? I did catch the in-game rock band performing; sounded pretty good. Hm, is the soundtrack the BC-FFVII- sorta deal where the sound’s been enhanced (bumuming BC’s sound was of less-than-CD quality), or is it the sort of “LOL, we just held a mic up to a GBA speaker” sort of deal? I wouldn’t mind hearing a full-on version of the performance.

Sequel would be correct, yes.
This seems to have been a good week for translations. The Persona 2: Innocent Sin translation has also been completed. Much to my glee. |

Holy crap! There actually doing it? I thought we’d never get a translated copy. I never played EB 0, but I considered it. I have the Earthbound 1 cartridge though (and guide). |

meh, what can you do about it, OTHER than trolling Nintendo, but, I’ve played up to…chapter 5 or so and it’s awesome, I’m just having a hard time with the rhythm battles, but the game is pretty easy if you’ve played an earthbound game before AND you abuse the rolling HP counter to heal before someone bites the dust, only one character has died so far to the point I could revive them before getting a GAME OVER…I’ve gotten plenty of those thanks to my stupidity, but, other than that, the game is enjoyable…espesually with the english patch. |

I’ve only just started Chapter 5. I’m fully enjoying it thus far. Though I still haven’t been able to get more than a 6-hit combo. And I think that was mostly due to luck.
Also: Duster amuses me. I can’t quite pinpoint why, though. |
