type two is what most people mean when they self identify as a troll, the troll as hero, most commonly seen in 4chan type people. they employ the same methods as most trolls but tend to attack more directly and with more focus, going after those they feel “deserve it” instead of whichever target is nearest, and being far more likely to act as a group (see: TSB)

I dunno I could be wrong about this but there definitely seems to be some kind of division between people who are called trolls and people who identify as a troll
