40 Forums Glitch?

I just beat 40 unique forums in a row, and did not receive credit for it.
I’ve been going through the forums consecutively with this character. Yesterday, I was awarded the “You Beat Superman” e-peen for pwning 36 unique forums in a row, after beating Zombie Armageddon, FAP, Wiccapedia and Gamefabulous persons.
Today I beat God Hates Facts, PrayPal, Urbane Dictionary, and MemeBusters. That should have taken me to 40, but I was awarded a single pistachio scoop (and no e-peen) for having pwned “4 unique forums in a row”.
Since I got the 36-forum e-peen yesterday, then there’s no way I would be down to 4 consecutive forums unless one of those I pwned today was a repeat from one I pwned yesterday. Because I’ve been known to make stupid mistakes along these lines before, I’ve read and re-read (and re-re-read, pun intended) the lists from my character sheet, and I’m confident that there are no duplicates between the two days.
I’ve submitted a bug report, but I thought I would also dogreat timesent it here. Has anyone else had a similar problem lately? Or can someone see a glaring duplicate between today’s and yesterday’s forums that I’m somehow missing?
So confused, and I’m not even drunk. |

If you pwned them in the order posted, God Hates Facts would be the duplicate. See what is the forum you pwned before Denture Chat.
As a side note I would wish they would bring back the old counter on the Visit History page. |

You don’t just need to look at the last 2 days, did you check the entire list of the last 40 forums for a duplicate? Basically as soon as you hit a forum you’ve done it resets.
I hope it’s just a glitch, if it is ET will very likely fix it for you. If it’s not a glitch, be sure to start the really long consecutive pwns by doing your starting forum twice in a row. Yes, it takes an extra visit, but it 100% resets your consecutive counter and you can safely go straight down the lists without worrying that forum 39 was the one you did before forum 1, which will effectively break your streak.

I’m still confused. If I pwned God Hates facts, then started pwning forums consecutively with Denture Chat as #1 through to Game fabulous persons as #36, wouldn’t God Hates Facts be #37 in my streak, since the streak started at Denture Chat? I’m not sure that I understand why the streak should “reset” at this point.
Also, how can I check what I pwned way back then? My character sheet currently only shows the last 2 days worth of my history.

You can see all the most recent in > Bookmarks > Forums > Visit History.
The broken streak sucks, but it’s happened to all of us. You just have to figure, the program cannot “know” when you decide to start a new streak. It must have some physical key. That’s why starting by doing the same forum twice is 100% effective – you are absolutely resetting the counter when you do that.

Aha! Thanks was and scullyangel for the info Log in to see images!. The culprit was actually PrayPal, which was my the one I pwned with this character 2 forums before Denture Chat.

I think there’s still a glitch in how pistachio is calculated. I’ve had the pistachio reward I get jump all over the place on some alts, basically because I mix up the order I take forums in. As in, straight from 4 in a row to 12, or 12 to 28, and then back to 4…
It’d be nice if the Forum History actually logged the rewards for each forum pwning (lemon, pistachio and vanilla) so we can see where we’re at… |

Mine, however, really wasn’t a glitch at all. I don’t know why it was so hard for me to grasp last night, but it all makes sense now. *Facepalm* |
