i based the idea on clbummates. i certainly didn’t look for a cellmates.us
the description is even a modified version of whats on the clbummates site.
seriously you guys, the cellmates site appears to be for some sort of magazine distribution. hardly the same thing. just because there exists a website with the same name (a word you can find in the dictionary) doesn’t mean its a copy of a real website. No. The fact that there is some “teen mommies” website out there doesn’t mean that I got the name from them or copied them. They don’t even have a forum as far as I know. I have no way of proving it, but come on, I shouldn’t have to. Seriously, who cares? Name aside, the concept was obviously not stolen from Cellmates.us, and we aren’t writing subs based on the name, we’re writing them based on the concept. There’s a tripod site with a Denture Chat (chat is no longer operational), and there’s an actual place called The Furry Farm... but the former is about dentures themselves (not old people in general) and the latter is a pet boarding camp (has nothing to do with the furry fetish lifestyle). No one cares. They dont even count as coincidences, because the concepts are totally different.
If cellmates.us was a social networking site for prisoners, we could blame male reproductive organbum (even though it would still be a likely coincidence). But it’s not a social networking site. It appears to be a publishing company that is selling ads of shots of people in prison. Why or where, I dunno. It’s not very web2.0, is it? Pretty much just two pages.
