Step 2 – Blackjack balancing: – Blackjack (21) payout is 6:5 (instead of 3:2) – Push (ties) yeilds (sic) 75% return only – Dealer hits on a soft 17 – Multiple decks (4) – Option to split – Maybe: After splitting, player receive 1 scoop for winning each hand or loses 1 for losing each hand – Can’t double down a split – No spliting aces – Maybe: On double down, player receive 2 scoops for winning, lose 1 for losing Multi deck and 6:5. Why not just straight Vegas rules multi deck blackjack? Continuous shuffle kills the card counters, so nobody would do better than basic strategy. The 75% push is just weird. If you want to use rule variations, look at online odds calculators, like this one: http://www.drgamble.com/rules/blackjackcalculator.htm to get to the odds you want. No split aces is a good idea, IMHO. Why reinvent blackjack? If you can’t get to the odds you want with reasonable rules, maybe you don’t want blackjack in the game. Sux2BU Posted: Okay, looking at numbers: a player has a 32.5% chance of winning Guess The Number. bumuming an all-out-money-making build, a player can probably make 48K a week after expenses. (Trolls can’t, but that’s a separate issue that I believe CZ is working on.) With 48K, one can make about 22 AF scoops a week (1/3 of 48 = 16 wins, leaving 32K, another 10 wins = 20K, another 6 wins = 12K, another 4 wins = 8K, another 2 wins = 4K, 2 more wins = 44 total scoops for 22 AF). Is 22 a week max too high or too low? I think it’s fine, given that to make that level of flezz right now means skipping pistachios and/or lemons. But it may be worthwhile to make it each bet won is a scoop, upping it to 44 and making a money-making strategy an alternative to speedrunning across different forums. More ways to play is better, IMO. My only issue is the advantage to players with big bankrolls. I guess that’s an intended factor, but so much of domination is week-to-week. Having to play every day for months to be competitive is what I hate about many online games, and I enjoyed that it was missing here. (view post)	04/29/2008

Vanillas are uncapped if you have a good raiding klan only, and choco scoops are hit or miss. The cap on AF just brings them in check, but makes vanilla raids overpowering again.
