	Dragons, love them, hate them, or just don't care?? KrataLightblade Posted: There’s not an option for “I find them mildly annoying and remarkably stupid but I don’t have it in me to hate them beyond wondering what kind of person thinks ‘random dragon posting lolol’ is entertaining.” For whatever reason, among a certain percentage of the population of Flamebate, it’s considered acceptable to post the same image over and over and over again as a substitute for actual wit. Whether it’s gay porn, some humorous image, a youtube video, a smiley, or a dragon. It’s the same problem. Posting a picture so often it causes the page to scroll is not and will never be all that funny. Personally, I find the dragon spammers much less annoying than the people who actually cause page scroll with their image spamming. Personally, I think it would be for the best if flamebate were changed to allow a maximum of five images (including smilies) per post. (view post)	02/05/2009
	ALL THE RULES that'll keep you from being BANNED SG94 Posted: Any particular reason to have rules about dragons in RP forums? They don’t seem to fit in with the other rules regarding shock/browser hijacking etc. They’re pretty annoying to some, but that’s kind of the point innit? You troll with them on RP forums which explicitly allow that sort of behaviour. It’s just a very mild form of spam/trolling. They’re very small, non-obtrusive, non-offensive images. Why should it not be allowed in RP? I think the idea is just that “Sticky threads in RP forums are a tiny island of ‘there are actually rules here’” and so spamming/trolling the sticky threads is frowned upon. I would be happier if the rule was just “spamming images in a sticky thread, even in an RP forum is a bannable offense”, but I imagine that will happen if people start spamming gay porn or whatnot in the stickies. Alternatively, if the sticky threads were just moderated like Non-RP that wouldn’t be a bad thing. The point of the sticky threads is that people should actually read them. (view post)	02/05/2009

Do you know if ET had considered just removing the abuse filter for some of the high end .moar files?
